New Chairman proposed for Kuehne + Nagel

The Board of Directors of Kuehne + Nagel International has proposed its Vice Chairman Dr. Joerg Wolle for election as Chairman at the company’s General Annual Meeting, which will take place on 3 May. Dr. Wolle will succeed Karl Gernandt, who in May will become the President of Kuehne Holding (the majority shareholder of Kuehne + Nagel International) and Vice Chairman of Kuehne + Nagel International.

Bernd Wrede, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2002, will not be standing for re-election at the General Annual Meeting.

The Kuehne + Nagel International Directors will also propose the appointment of Hauke Stars to the Board at the GAM.
