Alibaba’s Jane Jiang takes on new role

Alibaba Group has announced the appointment of Jane Jiang as Chief People Officer, a role which begins immediately. Ms Jiang, who was previously   Deputy Chief People Officer, replaces Lucy Peng who will focus on her role as CEO of Ant Financial Services Group.

In her new capacity, Jiang will lead the ongoing strategy and operations for talent, organizational development and culture.

As a founding member of Alibaba Group, Jiang  has held many important leadership roles in the company and has made significant contributions in many area over the past years, including the advancement in  organisational structure, attraction of top talent and innovations in people management.
