Ninja Van plans to use new funding for further expansion

Singapore-based delivery company Ninja has announced that it has raised $30m in Series B funding, in a round led by the Abraaj Group. Other participants in the funding round included existing investor Monk’s Hill Ventures and new investors B Capital Group and Yahoo Japan Capital.

The company has indicated that it plans to use the new investment to expand its service to “all markets in Southeast Asia,” including Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

Ninja Van is currently operating in its home base Singapore, as well as Indonesia and Malaysia (where it officially launched on 28 March).

As previously reported by Post&Parcel, the UAE-based Abraaj Group recently led a funding round which raised $150m for the Indian online grocery delivery platform BigBasket.
