iForce’s Route Genie to integrate with InPost parcel lockers

Route Genie, iForce’s carrier management platform, has secured a long-term partnership that will see InPost UK’s automated parcel locker network integrated into its software. The agreement will allow online retailers working with Route Genie to offer InPost lockers to their customers as an option for returning and collecting parcels.

InPost currently has installed lockers at about 1,000 locations across the UK – in sites such as supermarkets, petrol stations and in secure locations outside retailers – and all are accessible 24/7.

Route Genie software underpins iForce Pathfinder, the company’s carrier management solution, which is being used by retailers such as Dunelm, Waitrose Cellar and Paperchase.

Richard Tucker, Head of Sales at iForce Group and Route Genie, commented: “We are constantly looking at ways to enhance Route Genie’s portfolio of carriers and PUDO offering. By establishing this partnership with InPost UK we are providing more choice to the online shopper and therefore minimising the chance of abandonment at the online checkout.”

Tony Kells, Sales and Marketing Director at InPost UK, added: “Route Genie is a highly innovative platform and this integration will ensure that retailers can deliver added convenience to the end consumer.”
