Birmingham based JDR Distribution has won a 1 year start-up contract to distribute fruit to schools as part of a new government scheme. JDR will deliver fruit to 400 schools in the Stafford and Sandwell districts 3 times a week for 40 weeks each year. It has also won a similar contract in London to begin later in the year. The contract is being worked with a fleet of refrigerated vans and 10 new employees.
