Amazon Prime Now comes to South Yorkshire
Amazon has extended the coverage for its Prime Now service to selected postcodes in South Yorkshire. The Prime Now service offers Amazon Prime members to order from a range of 15,000 items and choose delivery within one hour of ordering for £6.99, or free delivery within a choice of two-hour, same-day delivery slots between 10am and 10pm, seven days a week.
In a statement sent to Post&Parcel today (24 May), Amazon said that two-hour delivery windows are available in selected postcodes in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.

“Prime Now is our fastest delivery option ever and from today Prime customers in South Yorkshire can get the items they need quickly delivered right to the door in under an hour,” said Jason Weston, director of Amazon’s Prime Now service in the UK.
Prime Now launched in London in June 2015 and has since spread to include Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Portsmouth, and now South Yorkshire.
