Canada Post issues Social Responsibility Report
Canada Post’s latest Social Responsibility Report highlights a drop in lost-time injury frequency and a continuing reduction in carbon emissions. The company and its employees reduced lost-time injury frequency by 17% in 2015 and by 44% in the last four years.
On the environment front, it added more than 180 fuel-efficient vehicles to its fleet in 2015 and also reduced carbon emissions from domestic air delivery by contracting its main air network to a new supplier that made “significant improvements” in network efficiency.
