Fast response
Argos is running a special “Fast Track” event today (12 July), offering free Fast Track same day delivery for online orders. The minimum spend is just £10, and no subscription is needed. According to the notice on the Argos website: “Buy before 6pm, we’ll deliver by 10pm.”
The timing of the event, of course, is no accident: this is Amazon Prime Day. In the US, retail giant Walmart has also been offering its own shipping deals to counter the Prime threat.
The Argos Fast Track deal also extends to its Collection In-Store service. Not only will this be free (for orders above the threshold), but Argos will hold the item ready for collection for seven days.
Ordinarily, an Argos Fast Track Same Delivery costs £3.95.
