Sendle extends parcel delivery coverage

Sendle extends parcel delivery coverage

Australian parcel delivery company Sendle has extended its coverage to reach Tamworth in northern New South Wales. Sendle’s nationwide delivery network enables small businesses to send parcels of up to 2kg door-to-door for $10.75 and up to 25kg $24.75 nationally.

“Why should big business have a monopoly on low cost delivery networks? Being nestled in regional NSW means that Tamworth businesses – particularly those in eCommerce – have had to pay significantly higher delivery costs and longer waiting times. These businesses stand the most to gain from our flat rate national pricing and location pickup service,” said Sendle CEO and co-founder, James Chin Moody.

Sendle’s launch into Tamworth follows on from a number of partnerships the courier company has fromed with Etsy, NAB and Virgin’s Velocity. Last week Sendle also announced the national rollout of a 500g satchels service.
