Tesco rolling out same day click and collect service for groceries in 300 stores

Tesco will be offering same day click and collect on grocery orders at nearly 300 of its stores nationwide. The service will be available at £2 per slot from Monday to Thursday and £3 for Friday and Saturday. Customers who order before 1pm can pick up their groceries from 4pm onwards.

In a statement sent to Post&Parcel today (24 August), Tesco said that 90% of its Click and Collect grocery locations will offer same day Click and Collect.

A Tesco spokesperson said: “Customers will be offered a two hour pick up slot of either 4-6pm or 6-8pm.

“Customers will also be given the opportunity to try same day Grocery Click and Collect for free on orders over £40 when they sign up to Tesco’s Delivery Saver scheme. Delivery Saver also includes free delivery on all orders from Tesco Direct, F&F when customers spend over £10, and Tesco Wine by the Case.”
