Bees and Drones
Singapore-based startup Honestbee is looking to expand its offerings by launching new on-demand services and testing new delivery options – including drones. According to local reports, Honestbee has added an on-demand laundry service alongside its fast grocery delivery business. Honestbee has recently built a new version of its software platform which will allow it to add more on-demand options – such as the laundry service – to its app.
Honestbee is also reportedly trialing delivery by drone in association with Ben & Jerry’s (and ice cream will be on the drone-to-you menu).
Honestbee’s on-demand grocery delivery business is running in Singapore and Hong Kong, as well as some cities in Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, and the Philippines. For now, the new laundry option is only available in Singapore.
