UPS UK to hire 1,300 for holiday season

UPS has announced that it expects to hire 1,300 seasonal employees in the UK to help with the anticipated peak season surge in packages that will begin in November and continue through to January. UPS in the UK has approximately 8,000 permanent employees, operates 60 facilities, and has a delivery fleet of more than 3,400 vehicles across the country.

Earlier today, Royal Mail announced that it is looking to recruit around 19,000 temporary workers for its Christmas peak season push.
