New Wave surfs into food sector with new contract

MT award winner new wave logistics is expanding into the food sector with a three-year, multi-million pound grocery distribution contract with Jenks Sales Brokers.
Malcolm Wilson, new wave Logistics` managing director, says: “This is an important new area for us and we see real opportunity to transfer our expertise to major grocery companies that require high quality logistics solutions.”
The contract will run from new wave”s new 6,510sq m distribution centre in Northamptonshire, which has both ambient and temperature controlled ares to store a wide range of food, medicines and toiletries.
Intranet links between new wave and jenks provide order processing, inventory management and despatch and delivery confirmation.
