Greggs rolls out home delivery service

Greggs rolls out home delivery service

Fast food retailer Greggs is trialling a home delivery service in Newcastle. The company is launching the service in Newcastle’s Cobalt Business Park and will soon be rolling it out to the city centres of Newcastle, Manchester and London. Sources report that the scheme could go nationwide if the trials are successful.

Newcastle, by the way, is Greggs’ home town. The company’s headquarters are located on the Quorum Business Park.

There is a minimum spend of £25 for deliveries – which equates to more than 30 sausage rolls – so the service is geared towards office workers ordering for a team lunch, or hungry families. The trial will begin with a selection of popular items, rather than the full menu.
