Spain’s SEUR has announced that it is looking to hire more than 1,700 extra staff, as it expects to see a 20% surge in parcel volumes over the holiday season. In a statement issued today, SEUR said that it typically handles around 350,000 parcels a day – but it expects that it will have to deal with 500,000 on key holiday season days like Black Friday, Cyber Monday or 19 December.
