Spring launches International Returns

Spring Global Delivery Solutions has launched an International Returns solution. According to Spring, the new International Returns solution “gives retailers, manufacturers and wholesalers a wide choice of return solutions supported by an extensive international network”.

The return solution offers tracked and untracked products for packets and parcels. The total network consists of more than 150,000 drop-off locations, including local post offices, and a worldwide pick-up solution.

International Returns uses a customisable platform specifically built with e-commerce business requirements in mind. The platform gives customers their own branded landing page for returns and Spring offers intelligent interfaces to connect with the customers’ systems via API technology.

Customers can enable their consumers to download return labels (available in 22 languages) for free, via branded portals linked to their website. Alternatively, consumers can purchase a return label in the portal with Sender Pays or Sender Part Pays to share the costs. Customers can also opt for label-in-the-box solutions.

Spring – which is part of the PostNL Group – offers the benefit in Europe of value added services along the returns route, including opening packages, inspecting or scanning the returned items to speed up refunding and re-stocking.
