Cainiao reportedly plans to open new office in Russia

Alibaba-backed logistics company Cainiao plans to open a new subsidiary in Russia, according to Russian media sources. The Russian newspaper Kommersant quoted a “source familiar with the company’s plans” as saying: “Cainiao will establish an eco-system of logistics, fulfilment and warehouse companies around business of AliExpress in Russia both for trans-border trade and Russian business.”
