Europa Road appoints Glasgow branch manager

Europa Road has appointed Stewart Lawson as the Branch Manager of its Glasgow office. Lawson, who has worked in various sales-based roles since joining Europa in 2004, succeeds Alan Green who has retired after 12 years with the company. Stewart now heads the Glasgow team of six, bringing a wealth of both sales and logistics experience.

Commenting on his promotion, Stewart said: “The market outlook in Scotland remains challenging, however I believe there are new business opportunities for Europa in this current climate. I’m lucky to be working with a talented, customer-focused team which helps to strengthen Europa’s reputation as a leading logistics provider throughout Scotland.”

Dionne Redpath, Branch Network and Sales Director, Europa Road, said: “Our Glasgow office services a wide variety of sectors and continues to gain momentum across Europe, predominantly Germany, France and Italy. Stewart’s vision for growth consolidates the team’s approach to strengthen Europa’s reputation in Scotland, making him the ideal candidate for this role.”
