Alibaba and Maersk team up to offer online services for Chinese shippers

Chinese shippers can now use Alibaba’s OneTouch platform to book space online on selected Maersk ships. According to a report published by Reuters today (4 January), the service is currently being offered on routes from eight Chinese ports, including Shanghai and Ningbo, to ports in Europe and Asia.

The new service became available on the OneTouch website on 22 December.

OneTouch focuses on offering services such as customs clearance and logistics to China’s small and medium size exports.
