Postmates launches alcohol delivery service

Postmates has started offering an on-demand drinks delivery service in San Francisco and Los Angeles. In a notice posted yesterday (25 January), Postmates said: “Unlimited subscribers will get free delivery on all beverage orders, and non-subscribers will get free delivery on all orders over $30.”

For order under $30, Postmates will charge a $2.99 delivery fee and a 9% service fee.

Postmates will be working with local stores and aiming to get the drinks delivery to customers in “25 minutes or less”.

The delivery company added that it will be rolling out new service to its other markets soon.
