Ordering deliveries through Alexa – while driving your car

Logitech’s Logi ZeroTouch hands-free communication system now offers an integration with Amazon’s Alexa which allows UK and US drivers to voice-control their music, remotely control their smart home devices – and even shop online and order deliveries. The Alexa update is free for all current ZeroTouch users and is available in the United States and United Kingdom starting today (7 February).

Vadim Kogan, Logitech’s head of partnerships for the smartphone business, said: “Ford, Volkswagen, Honda and Volvo all announced Alexa integration, with Ford adding it to Sync 3 cars but most saying ‘later in 2017’. With ZeroTouch you don’t need to buy a new 2017 car, you can have Alexa in any car with just a simple accessory and a smartphone.”
