Palletways’ Polish hub now fully operational
The Palletways Group has announced that its new Polish hub in Łódź is now fully operational. The hub, located in the centre of the country, has 2,500 m² (26,900 sq ft) of distribution and logistics space.
Led by Managing Director Tomasz Cegielski, Palletways Polska will provide collection and delivery services to every postcode area within Poland.
Palletways Polska currently has 12 members, with four more expected to sign in the coming months as volumes continue to grow.
The new hub in Łódź will offer: daily connections with Germany and the rest of the Palletways international hub network, including Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia; and a full range of Economy and Premium domestic services within Poland.
James Wilson, CEO of Palletways, commented: “We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Polish network. It represents another major step towards our vision of being the European Pallet network of natural choice for all customers across Europe. We have worked very hard to recruit the best possible team and the best network members to deliver service excellence to all.
“In 2017 alone we’ve added three new hubs to our network, including Bristol in the UK and Jaen in southern Spain, together with Łódź in Poland. We are also continuing to invest in award winning IT systems and enhanced infrastructure to continue to offer the best support for our members and customers.”
