Carousel extends air line-haul operation

Personalised logistics provider Carousel is extending its air line-haul operations. From 2 May, Carousel will double the capacity on its existing flight from Karlsruhe-Baden-Baden near Frankfurt by upgrading its aircraft to a Saab 340 freighter, and it will also add a new route from Birmingham airport into Dublin.

News of this extension comes just shortly after Carousel announced a new route from Weeze, Northern Germany, also into Birmingham.

The new service from Birmingham to Dublin will create a complete three-leg rotation that will run overnight, every week day between Karlsruhe-Baden-Baden, Birmingham and Dublin. It will also be available for weekend routes too.

The schedule for the flights is as follows:

  • Depart FKB: 21.45
  • Arrive BHX: 22.45
  • Depart BHX: 00.30
  • Arrive DUB: 02.00

Graham Martin, CEO at Carousel, said: “By adding more routes and a bigger capacity on our Frankfurt-Baden route, we can offer more businesses the reliable, end to end logistics solutions that the market so desperately craves.”
