UberEATS launches in Mumbai

UberEATS launches in Mumbai

Uber has launched its on demand food delivery service, UberEATS, in India. The service is starting in Mumbai and Uber plans to extend the service to six Indian cities by the end of the year.

“The introduction of UberEats in India, with Mumbai as the first city, is a major step in our global expansion and showcases our commitment to the region,” Bhavik Rathod, Head of UberEats India, said in a statement.

With Mumbai onboard, UberEATS is now available in 78 cities around the world. The other cities in Asia include Bangkok, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei and Dubai.
