Europa Worldwide awarded Health and Safety accreditation

Europa Worldwide Group has been awarded BS OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management accreditation by the British Standards Institute (BSI). The company said that the accreditation followed a recent investment of £25,000 and more than 560 business hours (75 days) in health and safety training for 25 members of Europa’s senior team across its 11 UK sites.

HR and Facilities Director at Europa Carl Potter said: “This standard demonstrates our commitment to protecting employees, customers, visitors, contractors and the public during the course of our business activities.

“The Occupational Health and Safety Management System specification is a benchmark of excellence and could have only been achieved by embedding this within our management culture since we introduced our values two years ago.”
