Amsterdam delivery service Byondo using TRIPL

Byondo is using the TRIPL electric vehicle for last mile deliveries in Amsterdam. The delivery company says there are triple benefits to using the TRIPL: it “ups their images”; increases efficiency; and cuts emissions.

Bart Merckx, CEO at Byondo, explained: “We deliver luxury goods to hotels and private homes for people who shop at Dior, Prada, Chanel and so on. The TRIPL is perfect for this. It’s quick, easy to move, and good for the environment. 100% electricity = Zero emission.

“Furthermore it’s cost effective when you are working with last mile delivery like we are – especially in city centres, where cars are not allowed. We ride alongside bicycles, but a lot faster and we get through traffic easily.

“Our customers think it’s very cool looking, and it creates a lot of buzz when we drive in the city centre.”
