Hermes testing TRIPL trikes in Göttingen

Hermes has reported today (11 June) on the pilot programme that it has been running with TRIPL electric delivery vehicles in Gottingen. The company is using the TRIPL trikes to deliver parcels to customers in the inner city area, where there are restrictions on conventional commercial vehicles.

Hermes started the pilot programme started in May, working with the Danish company EWII.

Dennis Isern, Manager Last Mile with Hermes Germany, said the TRIPL vehicles made delivering in downtown Gottingen faster and more efficient, as the vehicles are agile, easier to park and can use roads and paths that are closed to conventional delivery vehicles.

The tests are scheduled to end next month (August).
