Amazon rolls out apartment locker service

Amazon is introducing a service called “Hub by Amazon” – which essentially involves installing Amazon lockers in multi-resident buildings. The Hub by Amazon website says that the service “can free you and your staff from daily package management” and it will be “an amenity your residents will love” – so one assumes that the lockers could be deployed in both commercial office buildings and residential apartments.

The promotional website also suggests an interesting development from the standard Amazon locker model: Hub by Amazon will “accept deliveries from all carriers”.

The Hubs come in “four neutral colours that blend seamlessly with your property” and are available in indoor and outdoor formats.
