DHL Global Forwarding announces Salt Lake City station

DHL Global Forwarding is expanding its presence in Salt Lake City, Utah. In a statement issued yesterday (18 September), DHL said that the Salt Lake City station opening forms part of its strategic plan to grow its supply chain services in key cities across the US.

DHL said that Salt Lake City offered the benefit of “a central US location that is almost equidistant from major Western US markets”. In addition, the city “also stood out to DHL for its thriving industries, which include technology, vitamin and supplements, diet-related products, probiotics, aerospace, logistics and outdoor activities”.

DHL Global Forwarding’s Salt Lake City station employs nine employees and is located only three miles from the Salt Lake City International Airport. DHL plans to have 36 US stations by the end of 2017.
