FedEx renews operational agreement with Rangel in Portugal

FedEx Express announced that an operational agreement with its Portuguese Global Service Participant, Rangel, has been extended to May 2010. Rangel Expresso S.A has been the exclusive, authorized representative of FedEx in Portugal since 1999. (6/5/2003)

With the extension of the agreement, FedEx customers in Portugal will continue to benefit from the extensive ground infrastructure and excellent service of Rangel throughout Portugal.

Some of the benefits of the agreement are:

Increased FedEx brand awareness sustained by a dynamic a marketing strategy targeting the most diversified market segments of the Portuguese economy;

A co-branding program that will enhance FedEx visibility on Rangel Express fleet all over Portugal and shipping centers in Lisbon and Oporto.

Increased volume for the overall express business coming in and out of Portugal.
