Rhenus Logistics opens new Baltic facility
Freight forwarder Rhenus Logistics has opened a new facility in Vilnius, Lithuania. The Rhenus Svoris complex, which has a storage area of more than 12,000 square metres, was officially opened at the start of October.
Rhenus said that the new Lithuanian complex complements continued growth for the business closer to home. The freight forward specialist recently opened its flagship Rhenus Manchester facility at the city’s Port Salford development, a £138m investment in the North West’s logistic provision and the UK’s first tri-modal inland port.
