Carat Czech Republic initiates cooperation with DHL

Carat Czech Republic, a subsidiary of the UK media agency Carat, started co-operation with the U.S. express and logistics company DHL Worldwide Express, the director of Carat Czech Republic, Petr Majerik, said on June 5, 2003.

The co-operation covers the companies’ operations throughout Europe, Majerik added. Carat Czech Republic launched DHL advertising campaign in the Czech press in May 2003, which was subsequently extended with a campaign in the TV.

Carat Czech Republic has recently attracted new clients like the U.K. company Freeport, which is engaged in sales of clothes in the Czech Republic. Carat also won a contract with the Prague subsidiary of the German sweets producer Strock, Strock Ceska Republica. Carat Czech Republic expects a minimum of 25-pct year-on-year increase in turnover for 2003, Majerik said.
