E-Gov 2003 Awards to USPS.com and HHS.gov
The United States Postal Service and the Department of Health and Human Services, both supported by Aquilent, a leading provider of E-government and IT consulting services for government clients, were each recently honored with receipt of E-Gov 2003 Government Solutions Center Awards. USPS.com was awarded one of ten Explorer Awards. HHS.gov was awarded a Trailblazer Award. These awards recognize government programs that have “improved government operations with innovative application of technology and streamlined processes.” Aquilent provides the interactive design engineering services for the USPS.com and HHS.com websites, and congratulates USPS and DHHS on receipt of these prestigious awards.
USPS.com is the primary Internet channel for business-to-consumer and business-to-business activities and for the dissemination of USPS information to the public. HHS.gov provides a citizen-centric web portal that provides a single public interface to information and services provided by the department and its numerous operating divisions. Aquilent recently supported the USPS and HHS in re-launches of their websites, which have resulted in increases in the number of site visits and constituent satisfaction.
“We are pleased with the recognition USPS and HHS have received with receipt of the Explorer and Trailblazer Awards, and with the positive trends in performance since the re-launch of USPS.com and HHS.gov,” said David Fout, President and Chief Executive Officer of Aquilent.
