P Jackson: Finland Post mentioned at the Rutgers conference that they have or are in the process of buying newspaper delivery companies – interesting. They also commented that letter volumes were now rapidly going down!!
I Senior: Finland Post has no competition because new entrants would have to pay up to 20% of the value of their turnover into a fund if they target densely populated areas.

The continuation of the monopoly evidently is hastening the decline of physical mail which seems inevitable. It is highly inefficient to transport paper from end to end instead of electronic impulses.
