Jan Bos to step down as CFO of PostNL in Q2 2018

Jan Bos will step down as CFO of PostNL during the second quarter (Q2) of 2018.

Bos, who has been with PostNL for almost 25 years and serving as CFO for the past seven, will step down sometime after the 2018 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.

In a statement issued today (29 November), PostNL said the Supervisory Board will start the search for  Bos’s successor as soon as possible.

Commenting on his decision, Bos said: “I look back with joy and gratitude at the period that I have been able to contribute to the development and transformation of PostNL.

“In my period as CFO, together with Herna Verhagen, I have seen PostNL become a financially healthy company.

“In the meantime, we are working hard on the acceleration of the transformation to be the postal and logistic service provider in the Benelux, together with the new Executive Committee and our employees.

“I have decided to step down before the end of my term, because I look forward to a new challenge after almost 25 years at PostNL. By announcing my departure now, I will be able to contribute to a smooth transition and prepare myself for a next step in all openness.”
