Tesco, the UK-based retailer, has signed up Tibbett & Britten to provide chilled logistics for its 19 stores in the Czech Republic. The operation, based at Tibbett & Britten’s existing chilled and frozen food distribution centre in eastern Prague, involves warehousing and distributing chilled dairy products, which were previously delivered direct to store. Transport is being outsourced under T&B management.
