Deutsche Post hopes to start medical mail

Deutsche Post, the German postal service operator, is reported to be working on the creation of special packaging for the transportation of medicines, named ‘Medicalpack’. The company is hoping to enter into mail order business with medicines next year if the relevant legislation is amended by that date. The German government is reported to be considering the authorisation of mail order business with medicines as part of a plan to save costs in the country’s health service.
