Poczta Polska, Bank Pocztowy and MoneyGram building on money transfer partnership

Poczta Polska, Bank Pocztowy and MoneyGram have teamed up so customers can send money from post offices in Poland to more than 200 countries and territories across the world.

In a statement issued on Thursday (15 March), Poczta Polska said that the arrangement makes it the largest MoneyGram agent in terms of availability in Poland.

Poczta Polska said that until recently Poland was considered a “recipient market” – i.e. one where most moneys transfer were coming into the country from Polish people working abroad and looking to send money home. However, Poczta Polska is now also seeing more demand for sending money abroad, as the country has seen an influx of migrant workers from the east, and Ukraine in particular.
