Finland’s Posti secures food logistics certification

Finland’s Posti has announced that it has been awarded A-class food logistics certification by the British Retail Consortium (BRC).

In a statement issued today (25 April), Posti said that the certification covers its warehousing in Vantaa.

Harri Kämppä, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Solutions, said that major players in the food industry will almost certainly require BRC-compliant services from their logistics partner.

The food delivery sector has become a topic of growing interest to many postal players, as they look to diversify beyond their traditional operations.
