UPS appoints new president for Europe

Lou Rivieccio

Lou Rivieccio has been appointed as president of UPS Europe.

Rivieccio, a 34 year UPS veteran, succeeds Nando Cesarone, who has been appointed president of UPS International and a member of UPS’s Management Committee.

“Lou comes to Europe at a time when we are investing in our network to improve speed, add capacity and service the demand we’re seeing driven by e-commerce and cross-border trade,” said Jim Barber, UPS Chief Operating Officer.

Rivieccio has held several key management positions at UPS throughout North America, including vice president of operations for UPS Canada, president of the Northern Plains District, and president of the Ohio Valley District in the U.S. In his most recent role as president of the UPS East Region in the U.S., he provided strategic direction for approximately 175,000 employees in 26 states.
