Wincanton awarded e-fulfilment contract extension by Loaf

Wincanton has extended its relationship with London-based home furnishings brand Loaf to provide eFulfilment services.

The contract, which began in 2014, has been extended until 2020 and will see Wincanton continue as the sole supplier of warehousing and customer delivery services to Loaf, supporting order fulfilment for one- and two-man ‘white glove’ home delivery.

The operations will be run from Wincanton’s Greenford Fulfilment Centre.

Paul Durkin, Director of Home and eFulfilment at Wincanton said: “For a business like Loaf, where such a high proportion of its sales are conducted online, getting the customer journey right, is crucial. From convenient delivery times to helpful and efficient delivery crews, with great communication all the way, the customer comes first.

“We are proud to have partnered with Loaf on their growth journey for the past four years, flexibility has always been key and our Home Delivery Network and Greenford facility is perfect for this.”
