ERPG stakeholder forum

The first stakeholder forum of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP) will take place in September.

A notice posted on the European Commission’s Europa website announced that the forum will be held at the Thon Hotel in Brussels on 20 September.

According to the EC: “Stakeholders from the postal, digital and e-commerce sectors will gather to exchange views on topics which are crucial for the future, in particular in the context of the future legislative debate on the postal regulatory framework.

“This first forum also aims to consider the way regulators should consider interactions between postal sector transformation and competition. A further element will be sustainable universal postal service provision, including safeguards to protect end users.”

Participants will also be able to discuss the ERGP work programme for 2019 which will be out for consultation at that time.
