Saloodo! now supports online price adjustments

Freight forwarders and hauliers can now adapt their transport offers on DHL’s Saloodo! digital freight platform.

In a statement issued today (18 July), DHL said: “Carriers can now withdraw a transport offer submitted previously during the submission period, and replace it with a new price.

“For example, if they make a typographical error when keying in a price, or wish to submit a more competitive bid, they can simply cancel the original transport offer and replace it with a new one.

“This enables freight forwarders and hauliers to negotiate more flexibly on the digital platform. In other words: Through the cancellation function, carriers boost their competitiveness and minimize the risk of doing empty runs.”
