GLS unveils international FlexDeliveryService for the UK

GLS has announced that it has added the UK to its FlexDeliveryService.

In a statement sent to Post&Parcel today (19 July), GLS said that the service now extends to 16 European countries. France, Spain and Denmark are among the countries that have been added recently.

With the FlexDeliveryService, online shoppers can arrange cross-border shipments and choose from a range of options to manage the time and place of their delivery. The system then keeps the user informed about the progress of the delivery in their national language.

GLS said that adding the UK to the FlexDeliveryService was an important step because not only is the UK Europe’s largest e-commerce market but around a third of UK online shoppers bought items from other European countries last year.
