SingPost makes it easier for Singaporeans to spend and send money online

Ms Ashley Koh, SVP and GM of Send, MatchMove, said: “Adding more online and offline top-up points in the heartlands will certainly provide a better support on the operations for our clients who have customers in Singapore. Instead of having to maintain physical and virtual touchpoints, our clients can tap on SingPost’s extensive network and let their customers enjoy the convenience of topping-up at SingPost’s post offices and SAM Kiosks islandwide as well as SingPost’s SAM web and mobile platforms. These top-up points are in addition to the existing options of using credit/debit cards and eNETS for top-ups. They will provide an additional channel for customers to convert cash into digital currency to spend and send money online.”

The first to offer this additional top-up channel to its customers is BOSS Mobile Money app, a service that allows users in Singapore to make fast and secure cross-border money transfers at low cost.

Mr Guntha Raviteja, a regular user of BOSS Mobile Money, said: “I’m glad that now I can go to any SAM Kiosk in my neighborhood at any time and use my bank account to top-up money into the app instantly. I don’t have to worry about having to apply urgent leave or stand in long queues when my family needs money for emergency use back at home in India.”
