New Chairman of PostNord AB board

The meeting passed a resolution approving the shareholders’ proposal regarding members of the Board, Chairman of the Board, Vice Chairman of the Board and remuneration for the Vice Chairman of the Board.

The general meeting decided to elect Christian Jansson and Christian Frigast as members of the Board for the period until the end of the next Annual General Meeting.

They replace Jens Moberg, Chairman and member of the Board, and member of the Board Anitra Steen, who have stood down from the Board of PostNord.

Christian Jansson was elected as Chairman of the Board and Christian Frigast was elected as Vice Chairman of the Board.

Christian Jansson’s current positions include Chairman of the Board of Accumbo and Random Walk Imaging as well as member of the board of Excillum.

His previous positions include CEO of KappAhl, Ellos and Europris. He has also been Chairman of the Board of Apoteket, Min Doktor and Svensk Handel.

Christian Frigast is a Partner in and Chairman of Axcel Management A/S, where he was previously Managing Partner, and is also Chairman of the Board of Danmarks Skibskredit Holding A/S, EKF – Danmarks Eksportkredit, Bestyrelsesforeningen and the think tank Axcelfuture, Vice Chairman of the Board of Pandora A/S, the DVCA (Danish Venture Capital Association) and the Axcel Advisory Board, and a member of the Board of Nordic Waterproofing A/S.

Remuneration for the Vice Chairman of the Board of SEK 500,000 on an annual basis was decided by the general meeting.

PostNord AB (publ), the parent company of the PostNord Group, is 40 % owned by the Danish government and 60 % owned by the Swedish government. Voting rights are shared 50/50 between the two governments.

The Danish government was represented at the meeting by Bente Bohn, senior administrative officer at the Danish Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing, and the Swedish government was represented by Christine Leandersson, Deputy Director at the Swedish Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation.
