KEBA opens new branch in India

Automation specialist KEBA, is opening a subsidiary in Pune, close to the port city of Mumbai in India.

With its new base in India, KEBA is now present in 14 countries worldwide, including the United States and others across Europe and Asia.

India is one of the strongest emerging markets in Asia in terms of growth,” says KEBA CEO Gerhard Luftensteiner, explaining the reasoning behind this new subsidiary. “With our subsidiary in Pune, we are putting in place the ideal prerequisites for providing optimal service to our existing clients in the area of machinery and robot manufacturing and for expanding our market presence even further,” he continues.

Pune is close to Mumbai and, with its population of around 3.4 million, is the ninth-largest city in India. The city is a leading industrial center in India that is home to machine manufacturers, the automotive industry and its associated suppliers.

“KEBA stands for quality and innovation,” Gerhard Luftensteiner explains. “Our clients value our expertise in their sectors as well as the customer proximity that we can provide thanks to our subsidiaries in their countries.“
