Mailshots from seven Western Europe countries to Austria through DPGM

Österreichische Post AG and Deutsche Post Global Mail GmbH have concluded a cooperation agreement for distributing Infomail und Infopost items (addressed and unaddressed mailshots) to Austria from France, the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Spain, Denmark and Switzerland. The agreement calls for Deutsche Post Global Mail, a subsidiary of Deutsche Post World Net, to distribute mailshot dispatches to Austria from these countries for the Austrian Post.

Next Step for Österreichische Post: Market expansion into Eastern Europe

The first step to be taken by the Austrian Post in its international distribution activities for transnational mailshots is to focus on the Western European countries with the largest mail streams. It intends to subsequently target a market expansion to Eastern European countries. Österreichische Post AG’s goal is to offer better service to its customers abroad through its cooperation with a strong distribution partner, thereby generating additional and larger item volumes.

Significant expansion of Deutsche Post Global Mail’s product portfolio

For Deutsche Post Global Mail, the cooperation heralds a significant expansion of its product offer for its international business customers, granting them access from a single source to two major markets in the German-speaking area.
Today, Deutsche Post Global Mail is represented with distribution offices in the European and Asia-Pacific region. In the US the company operates with four mail terminals and a country-wide network of sales offices.
