Spanish DHL Iberia Buys Liste

DHL Iberia, the Spanish subsidiary of German express mail delivery group DHL, has bought Spanish cargo transport company Liste for an undisclosed sum, it was reported on June 14, 2004.

The acquisition is expected to strengthen DHL Iberia’s positions in the region.

Liste, founded in 1950, operates in the Pontevedra and Vigo provinces in the Galicia region, northwestern Spain. The company has 3,000 sq m facilities in Vigo and 1,000 sq m facilities in Pontevedra. It employs 69.

In 2003, Liste posted a turnover of 8.3 mln euro ($9.9 mln), received 485,000 orders and carried 30 tonnes of cargo.
