Nippon Express using hydrogen-powered boats for deliveries in Venice

Nippon Express Italia has launched an eco-friendly last-mile delivery service in Venice that will use hydrogen-powered boats.

In a statement issued on Tuesday (9 August), Nippon Express said that the service will primarily be making deliveries to luxury fashion shops.

The boats are equipped with removable hydrogen generators which will help the delivery company to reduce its CO2 emissions.
